Through the Volunteer Income Tax (VITA) Program, you can receive FREE income tax preparation. VITA assists working individuals & families to take advantage of all the tax credits that are available including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), the Child Tax Credit (CTC) and several other credits.
Last year over $4.2 million dollars was returned to the pockets of residents in Beaufort County! Almost 3.5 million dollars back into the bank accounts of working individuals and families right here in our community. Money to help cover the cost of clothes, medicine, food, school supplies, utility payments, and house payments.
Individuals and families can qualify for an additional $450 to over $6,000!!
